Drake Maye, the star quarterback for the New England Patriots, has had a steady source of support in his girlfriend, Ann Michael Hudson. Their love story began long before Maye’s rise to fame in football. When Drake Maye met her girlfriend for the first time, he wasn’t a football star.

Ann Hudson was born in 2003, to Kevin and Alicia Hudson. Her father, Kevin Hudson, was a football player at Wofford College, so sports has always been a big part of her life. Hudson also has a strong academic background. She is now studying at Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC. She is majoring in business administration with minors in entrepreneurship and conflict management.

She has taken on leadership roles, such as being the vice president of finance for her sorority, Kappa Delta. She was also a strategy consultant at Piedmont Pennies. Hudson used to scholar at big MNCs such as Deloitte. These experiences have helped her develop strong business acumen.

Hudson has been a constant supporter of Maye’s football career. From attending his high school games to cheering him on as the starting quarterback for UNC, she has always been by his side.

In the 2020 new year, Drake posted, “Bringing in ‘20 with a 10🤤.” Ann has also been active in supporting Maye on social media, sharing his game updates and celebrating his achievements. She accompanied her boyfriend at the 2024 NFL Draft. Expressing her pride, Hudson wrote on Instagram, “Drake, words cannot describe how proud I am of you. What an incredible blessing it has been to be by your side through all of this. I love you and can’t wait for this next chapter! GO PATS!!”

Hudson herself has a history of involvement in sports. She was the team captain for the varsity softball and field hockey in high school. She was also the captain of the cheerleading team. She became an assistant coach in 2022. It was for the 10 and under girls’ softball team at Chapel Hill Parks and Recreation.
