Taking his performance one step higher in the 2023 NFL season, Travis Etienne Jr. recorded 267 attempts in 1,008 in 17 games with 11 touchdowns in 17 games. That’s why the team was expecting him to give them the momentum. He tried but fell down in the week 6 game against the Chicago Bears, which the Jags lost by 16-35.

In 6 games before getting injured, the running back had 56 carries in 230 rushing yards with 2 touchdowns.

The offensive line did some good things. So that part of it was good and now we’ve just, somehow, got to get that to translate to the first play of the game and then carry on from there.”
