As the Cleveland Browns gear up for a pivotal showdown with the Miami Dolphins on December 22, the status of star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson remained shrouded in mystery – until now. In a revealing update, Thompson-Robinson has finally broken his silence on the injury that’s been plaguing him, while the Browns coach has confirmed a crucial decision regarding his availability for the upcoming clash.

Dorian is making a buzz as the injured player himself revealed the injury update. When asked about it, Thompson-Robinson said, “Starting in the last week, I was feeling a kinda tightness in there.” Though he continued to talk about how he was feeling a little strained too, at the end of the conversation he said, “feeling great”, which has sparked a debate about the 25-year-old QB’s return after an injury.

Dorian had a calf injury while playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. The injury seemed not so severe, and the franchise was ‘hopeful’ of his comeback as soon as possible. 72 hours ago, the Browns HC Kevin Stefanski commented on Thompson-Robinson’s injury. He said, “He played through it the whole time, so give the kid credit for that because that happened on the first couple of plays. But like any injury, you just have to be careful and make sure you treat it. But of course, hopeful.”

The franchise believes in Dorian and expects him to start the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins. He is a young quarterback as Stefanski also mentioned that he has been learning every rep and knowing the QB as much as possible to keep up the game. But currently, all we can say is the QB is working through the injury and is certainly hopeful. Besides this, the Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator has dropped another important about the Browns #17.

Ken Dorsey on Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s status

As a former quarterback himself, Ken Dorsey, the Browns‘ offensive coordinator, has replied with the most awaited answer about the franchise’s trusted QB. Dorsey said, “Right now, I’d love to be able to answer the question. I’m just so focused on what we’re trying to accomplish right now. All quarterbacks improve as they get into the league, and they get game reps.”

After that, he shifted gears to talk about the QB situation and even dropped a little hint about what might be next for the Browns. Ken Dorsey mentioned: “I think Dorian is going to keep improving with every single rep he takes. Where does that take him in the future? Well, that’s still up in the air. Right now, the focus for him—and all of us—is on winning this game.” The Browns have confidence in their young quarterback, even though the team’s sitting at a rough 3-12 this season. Despite the tough record, it looks like the management is busy figuring out how to move forward and build for the future. You can tell they’re planning something—maybe not right away, but they’re not giving up on the long game.
