24-19! This was the final score as the Pittsburgh Steelers looked helpless against the Cleveland Browns during the snow game at the rival’s home ground in Week 12. However, the story doesn’t end here for Russell Wilson’s team.
The worst part took place after the game when the NFL decided to impose some hefty punishments for two Steelmen. Yes, you heard it right! Russell Wilson’s teammates, Donte Jackson and Damontae Kazee are under heavy scrutiny this time due to their reportedly undisciplined act in the Week 12 game.
Both Jackson and Kazee have been charged with unnecessary roughness on the field by the league. On one hand, cornerback Jackson is fined $22,511.00, for using his helmet to tackle Browns receiver Jerry Jeudy in the fourth quarter when 5:28 was left on the clock.

On the other hand, safety Kazee has been fined $11,255.00 for a late hit in the first quarter when around 7:41 was left on the clock. He was on a punt return unit that time. So, that means in total, Russell Wilson’s teammates have to pay a hefty sum of about $33,766 to the league.
And you know what? The interesting part here is that Damontae Kazee has been fined six times for unnecessary roughness in the league. The last one also came in the Week 12 game, where his team, the Steelers, won against the Bengals.
Nevertheless, news fines have been imposed on these two players of the Steelers. However, one major player somehow escaped it.
Russell Wilson’s special target was able to escape the NFL fine?
Tensions flared after the Browns‘s 24-19 win over the Steelers, but luckily no punishments were handed out. The scuffle began during Pittsburgh’s final Hail Mary play, which spilled near the stands behind the west end zone. Russell Wilson’s favorite target receiver George Pickens clashed with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome. According to the reports, he grabbed his helmet as they moved out of the end zone.

In addition to that, Pickens then took Newsome to the ground near the wall by the seats. This chaos brought tension among the crowds, as later the security and police quickly stepped in to break it up, ending the confrontation. Now after this incident, many believed that Pickens and Newsome will be punished by the NFL. But, for now, the league has not decided to fine them.
However, not every player on the ground that day was lucky. Besides Steelers’s Damontae Kazee and Donte Jackson, Browns players such as Grant Delpit (taunting) and Jordan Hicks (body weight) were also fined.
