RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire has announced his arrival on the big stage. The Chiefs have made a roaring comeback against the Patriots by defeating them 27-17. After two back-to-back losses, the Chiefs were facing troubles. With this win, they have locked a virtual spot in the playoffs. In the absence of Isiah Pacheco, Clyde Edwards-Helaire stood up and grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

RB Isiah Pacheco was ruled out again because of a shoulder clean-up surgery. This opened up the opportunity for Clyde Edwards-Helaire to rise through the ranks. He was drafted by the Chiefs four years ago and has been a mainstay. The Chiefs are now reaping the benefits by showing trust in their roster and giving chances to deserving guys. HC Reid is surely a happy man now.

In the post-match presser, Andy Reid was asked a valid question as Clyde Edwards-Helaire played after so long, “Was he feeling down on himself?” Andy Reid was quick to respond, “Not at all, he’s been an energy giver”. He further praised the 24-year-old running back, “smile on the face and comes to work every day trying to get better and now he don’t ever complain”.

While Andy Reid was praising his snapping efforts, the reporter interrupted in the middle with a cheeky remark, “So put the ball over his head.” Andy Reid responded with a hilarious reply, “Well I just said, don’t ever question little guys.” The comment left everyone in splits. The reporter further asked Reid, “It seemed like you were able to use him a little more.”

Reid agreed with the reporter and accoladed the young RB, “He is a good runner, he’s got good hands um so he had opportunities today and did a nice job with it.” We all agree with Reid on this one, as Clyde Edwards-Helaire did a remarkable job.
