This year, when they won, I watched the whole game… I’m cool now. But the first year, it was kind of hard trying to get over that hump of seeing the guys do their thing.” There’s no doubt that Tyreek Hill still misses his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, despite his “wants to be a part of” the Dolphins remarks this offseason. But now, this strong feeling of being with the former team might have erupted in Hill’s heart.

This is evident from the fact that when the Chiefs won against the Raiders in the Black Friday game, Tyreek Hill decided to drop a comment on X. He said, “No way😂.” Now this isn’t just a random expression by Hill. Yes, it came after the Chiefs’ win, but, more importantly, it came after they became the first team of this season to clinch a playoff berth this time.

Yes! The pain might be real for Tyreek Hill, who earlier wished to be a part of the Chiefs’ dynasty after seeing their two consecutive Super Bowl wins. Even now, to rub salt on Hill’s wounds, many Chiefs fans commented on the wide receiver’s post. And guess what? One made a sarcastic comment by bringing up Hill’s $120 million decision when he arguably chose Miami for the money over the Chiefs in 2022. That fan said, “You could be there.. but you chose a few million dollars.” But the story doesn’t end here!

Many others chimed in sarcastically, “3 peat… you could have been their REEK.” Or “How many rings did you give up?” In addition to that, a couple of the online users showed their sympathy to the player. One wished, “You should have stayed a chief.” While the other expressed, “We all know that you wish you were here.” All these wishes and hopes are real. Especially when Tyreek Hill himself once posted all of his Chiefs’ memories and highlights on his social media platforms.

So, yeah, it’s likely to be true. Despite a part of him enjoying Miami, a part of him also craves for the Chiefs. That’s the reason why he always chooses to comment on the Chiefs or their players or even their progress. Now, it’s also worth noting that his missing the team is real. Especially after his own team, the Miami Dolphins, are still hanging by a thin thread when it comes to making the playoffs.

Will Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa enter the playoffs?

This question is important, given the situation where the Dolphins are standing right now. In their latest freezing (20 degrees) matchup, the Phins lost to the Packers 30-17. After the game, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa admitted the upset despite giving up his hopes: “This one was a tough one for us as a team. I wouldn’t say the dream is dead for our team just yet — anything can happen in this league.”

What’s your perspective on:

Did Tyreek Hill's $120 million decision cost him more Super Bowl rings with the Chiefs?

Have an interesting take?

Yes, of course, it was a tough game. Especially now, they hold a record of losing the last 11 games. Both regular and postseason, and those are below 40 degrees. But as Tagovailoa mentioned, there is still a chance. The question is: Is it really? Tyreek Hill and others in the team desperately want to be in the playoffs. However, for this, now the team will have to win almost every game, if not all. But the road is difficult for them. They will face some tough contenders in their path such as the Texans. And also the Super Bowl runner-up, the 49ers.

Currently, sitting at second with 5 wins and 7 losses, it’s difficult for them to gain the top spot which is held by the Bills. So, the team requires a fueled-up engine to sail through this rough patch.
