The Dolphins’ star Tyreek Hill has been making waves in the NFL arena. The 4 times First-team All-Pro now boasts an impressive 1,014 receiving yards with just eight games into the season. He’s clearly on a path to achieve an ambitious 2,000-yard goal, a feat that hasn’t been accomplished in over six decades.

Hill is now the first player in 62 years and the fourth in NFL history to accumulate 1,000 receiving yards in the first eight games of a season. Not to mention, the player has now joined the esteemed company of Charlie Hennigan (1961), Elroy “Crazy Legs” Hirsh (1951), and Don Hutson (1942). Since the WR joined the Dolphins last season, he has amassed a staggering 2,724 receiving yards in 25 games.

His record has surpassed Odell Beckham Jr.’s record for the most receiving yards in a player’s first 25 games with a team during the Super Bowl era. Adam Schefter reported this news on his X account. NBA player King James also commented on the player’s performance.

During that match, only 40 seconds remained in the second quarter as the Eagles were leading 17-3. Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa launched a precise pass to Hill on third-and-8.
