But Tunsil isn’t just rich in his bank account—he’s wealthy in generosity too. A few weeks ago, he posted a heartwarming vlog on his YouTube channel, where he gave dozens of kids the chance to buy anything they wanted for Christmas at Target. He also recently surprised single moms and their children with a shopping spree at Walmart and treated them to a holiday dinner at Gracewood. This thoughtful gesture for the single mothers makes you wonder about his own family life.

Who are Laremy Tunsil’s parents?

You must’ve heard “Dear Mama” by Tupac. Well, that song would fit perfectly in Laremy Tunsil’s relationship with his momma, Desiree Polingo. It wasn’t easy for her to raise Laremy, but she worked tirelessly for him. Desiree juggled several jobs, to make sure there’s food on the table. Even though they were living a hard knock life, she never let Laremy work anywhere.

Laremy shared this emotional statement in an interview: “My mom did not let me have a job as a teenager, at all. She just wanted me to focus on football. Any type of sports—football, basketball, track. She did not want me to have a job.”

But it wasn’t all smooth sailing in the Tunsil household. Laremy’s stepfather, Lindsey Miller, had a strained relationship with him, and things took a dramatic turn in 2015. After a heated argument, Laremy defended his mother, leading to an altercation that resulted in his arrest for domestic assault. Even though the situation with Miller continues to simmer, Laremy credits Desiree’s unwavering work ethic for his own determination. Her strength taught him how to keep moving forward, no matter the obstacles.
