The 6’1″ 207 lbs athlete got sporting genes from his parents. His father, Jason DeJean, played baseball while his mother, Katie DeJean, was a budding softball player. So when Cooper, the eldest, and his 2 brothers, Beckett and Jaxx, were born, the sports had to be involved.

So, they started taking him to games as a young kid. His interest arose, and he picked up the ball, playing with his brothers and other kids around the block. Jason, being a football coach, came as a bonus. “I think if you asked him, he’d rather win a championship as a team or something like that, more of a team player,” said his mother, while describing him as a team player.
