The game which kicked off with a promising start for Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, evaporated within just 2-plays in the last half. The Gang Green lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, December 1. And this 5-point loss has definitely frustrated the locker room.
The recent frustration came from cornerback DJ Reed, as he wasn’t happy with the officiating in the Week 13 game. On his official X account, after the game, he tagged the NFL officiating’s account and wrote: “You F—- s—, yall should be ashamed of yall selves.!”
In addition to Reed’s comments, Aaron Rodgers’s teammate, Garrett Wilson too, chimed in showing his love for the CB, while subtly agreeing to what he voiced out. On X, WR said, “(crying, laughing, and hoping emojis) love u bra.”

Actually, the Jets seemed to have the game in control with a 21-16 lead heading into the fourth quarter. But then, the Seahawks stormed back. They scored 10 unanswered points, including a game-changing touchdown with just over five minutes to go. But the worst part is that the penalties became a nightmare for New York.
The Jets racked up 12 flags for 83 yards, compared to just five for 50 yards by Seattle. What made it worse? Eight of those penalties hit them hard in the final quarter. The mistakes piled up, and the lead slipped away, leaving fans frustrated and heartbroken. But not only the fans were frustrated with the loss. Even quarterback Aaron Rodgers felt the same after the game.
Aaron Rodgers took a reality check on himself, the team & the calls!
Aaron Rodgers didn’t hold back his frustration after the game. He reflected on how things started strong, with Kene Nwangau making two incredible plays – forcing a fumble and returning a kickoff for a 99-yard touchdown. With the help of this, the team jumped ahead 21-7 and even got a fumble on the next kickoff. Now, till here, momentum seemed to be on their side.

But then came the second half. For this, A-Rod admitted there were some questionable calls, but also plenty of missed opportunities. He expressed, “Well, week after week. I mean, this was as frustrating as it comes…..I was moving around well, felt like it was as good as I felt all season, moving around and extended plays and came out fine.” However, he highlighted that games aren’t just won in the fourth quarter.
Yes, it’s true at least from what happened on Sunday. Mistakes earlier in the game, especially in the second quarter, set the Jets back. The major two issues were, as pointed out by Rodgers: a missed throw to Garrett Wilson that could’ve extended their lead to 28-7, followed by a pick-six that completely shifted the momentum. So, all in all, for Rodgers, it all came down to execution, precision, and the little things they failed to capitalize on.
