Is Micah Parsons overrated, or is the Cowboys' defense just not living up to the hype?

Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.” Mike Tyson gave us this famous remark, and it appears that the same parallel is currently applicable to Micah Parsons and his Cowboys. Didn’t get it? Don’t worry, here are all of the relevant context.

This analogy was dedicated to the team recently during Unsportsmanlike Radio by an ex-NFL star. Yes, you got it: Damien Woody was the one who bashed the Coyboys so hard. So far this season, the team’s defense has failed badly, and Woody believes this is due to their overconfident intentions.

The ex NFL star exagerated the whole scenario, “You just sitting here disgusted hearing that. Because that’s what they are. When you are head and able to pin your ears Aw! everything is great but like the great philosophy of Mike Tyson Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. And the same thing is happening with the Dallas Cowboys”

Gosh! These are harsh words, but if you understand his point, you can safely conclude that he is correct. Micah Parsons has so far been unable to carry out the strategy with his team. They all perform well in the beginning, but owing to a lack of defensive strength, the squad is always unable to get the upper hand in the end. They need to address this matter as quickly as possible. The season has only just begun, and if Micah Parsons who has done 12 tackles so far in this season (9 Solo and 3 Assists) improves the defense even more there is a good chance for the team getting qualified. Damien Woody too thinks that the team has great potential.

Damian Woody even praised Micah Parsons and company before criticizing them

Confused? Actually, this meant that the ex-NFL star talked about the Dallas Cowboys looking pretty excellent on paper. A superb quarterback combined with a powerful offense and a respectable defense creates a playoff-caliber squad. According to Damien Moody, the team may make the playoffs if they learn from their mistakes. The former NFL player remarked that the team is one of the finest he has seen in years, as he added, “That’s a front running team right there if I’ve ever seen one”

What’s your perspective on:

Is Micah Parsons overrated, or is the Cowboys' defense just not living up to the hype?

Have an interesting take?

It can be assumed that Micah Parsons and Mike McCarthy will be seeking to modify some plans. They’ll be devising fresh strategies to return to the Super Bowl after 28 years. Fans of the team are hopeful that their Super Bowl drought will end this season, but there is little hope thus far. So far, the team, after winning their starting game against the Browns (33-17) has lost two games in a row. These were some very bad losses that came against the Saints (44-19) and Ravens (28-25) and 2 of them being at home. At this moment the team will be planning to make a comeback in the week 4 game against Giants.
