The Cleveland Browns can’t catch a break. The Baltimore Ravens won the week 18 game with a huge margin of 35-10. But for the Browns, they lost more than the game in the season finale. Their HC Kevin Stefanski spoke more about it.
Stefanski faced the media with a heavy heart after the loss, which worsened their record to 3-14. When asked about this season with the franchise, the head coach said, “I’ll do some reflecting tomorrow morning, but for now, just thinking about that game… Ultimately we came up short in this game um and that’s the frustrating part.” He really need to introspect, what went wrong this season.

Stefanski is not new to the franchise. He has been in the building since 2020. But this year is certainly unusual and disappointing- not just for him, but for whole Cleveland fans. The Browns owner Jimmy Haslam also gave his bit on this season (when the team was 3-10) when ESPN reporters asked him and he remarked, “We went from 11 to 6 and making the playoffs to 3-10, so it’s a little perplexing what happened.”
However, Stefanski has done great things for the Browns, including his contribution to the Browns’ playoff appearances in 2023. In the same year, Stefanski also won the NFL Coach of the Year Award for the Browns. That was dope. But the 2024 season was a disappointment for the fans. The team expected Deshaun Watson factor (quarterback) to work, but that didn’t go as the franchise had anticipated. An injury sidelined Watson during the Week 7 game against the Bengals.
Well, the game against the Ravens ended in a loss, but the Browns got hurt more.
Kevin Stefanski gave an update on Mike Hall Jr’s injury
The Browns’ DT Mike Hall Jr. injured his foot, and they carted him off the field with 13:31 minutes remaining in the third quarter. HC Kevin Stefanski talked about his injury post game, saying, “Disappointed to lose Mike. He was playing well. He was playing physical. We’ll see what the MRI says, but disappointed for sure.”
The rookie is the 54th overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft. The team is waiting for reports to identify the extent of his injury. As of now, we can only say that the rookie has badly injured his knee and was writhing in pain on the field for a while.

Browns defensive tackle signed a $7,069,828 rookie contract with the franchise for four years in 2024. Mike Hall Jr. has played only 8 games this season and could only manage 7 solo tackles and sacked the opponent’s QB one time. Before the knee injury happened, Hall Jr. had two total tackles, one solo and one assist.

However, Mike’s injury is not the only thing the Browns have to worry about. They have got a full season to analyze. They are out of the competition now, but Kevin Stefanski and the team have hope to bounce back in the upcoming season.
