Just two weeks ago, Jordan Love told his team to ‘Make it happen.’ And now here we are, his guys did it. Packers fans have every reason to shout ‘Go Pack Go!’ as their team secured a playoff berth with a big win. In the final game of Week 16, the Packers dominated the Saints on their home turf Lambeau Field. Not only did they hand the Saints a shutout, but entered the playoffs in style. But wait, their QB expressed his plans after the mega 34-0 win.
The Packers are still hungry for more. After crushing the Saints, Jordan Love isn’t wasting any time looking ahead. Next up? The Vikings. Matt LaFleur’s guys are gearing up for the big showdown, and Love has a message for Sam Darnold and his crew. He’s coming for them. “We have to go into their place and handle business. We definitely owe these guys and we’ll be motivated to go play them,” said Love. We’ve got to give credit to the QB’s confidence here, but is he forgetting that the Vikings are on a whole other level this year? Thanks to Sam Darnold, the Vikings are riding an eight-game winning streak at this moment.
Jordan Love said that the Packers have to be able to beat some of the top teams in the NFC, starting with the Vikings next week. “We have to go into their place and handle business,” he says. “We definitely owe these guys and we’ll be motivated to go play them.”

Even though they won, the QB Jordan Love is still a bit disappointed. There were a few moments in the game where they missed out on some big throws. He mentioned that he first wanted to target TE Tucker Kraft, but saw a cornerback covering him. ” I came out and I felt the corner grabbing Tucker and uh my eyes went to Christian and uh right when my eyes went over there I felt the corner just take off running and I couldn’t really tell, where the safety was.” Love, who scored a TD and racked up 182 yards, thinks there was a bigger play to be made. But they missed the chance because of these shortcomings.
Moving on from that, the Packers might face some challenges as their safety Evan Williams missed the week 16 game due to an injury.
Jordan Love & Co. might face a huge blow ahead of the playoffs
This season, injuries have been a problem for almost every team. With the playoffs coming up, teams must protect their key players at all costs. Otherwise, you might miss your shot even after coming so far. It looks like the Packers are facing some trouble as their head coach confirmed safety Evan Williams’s injury status. Williams, who missed today’s game, is most likely out for the season. The 23-year-old last played against the Seahawks on December 16. After that, he got ruled out for the week 16 game due to a quadriceps injury, which likely occurred during practice.

“There’s concern. I would think he’s going to be out a period of time. Nothing long-term, just one of those deals. It’s unfortunate. I think it happened on the first play of practice (on Saturday). I know he’s bummed because it’s the second time it’s happened to him,” said Matt LaFleur. For now, Zayne Anderson is serving as the safety for the team.
The HC is hopeful that he will be back for the playoffs. “Hopefully, we’ll get him back in time for the playoffs.” Whether Williams will be back or not, we’ll have to wait and see. But for now, QB Jordan Love should have a word with his team to make sure they don’t miss those big throws in the next game.
