San Francisco 49ers‘ tight end George Kittle is winning everyone’s hearts again. And, this time with his new DirecTV commercial, which he posted via his Instagram account on August 27, 2024. Fans are calling ‘it just hilarious’. Kittle has made his head completely clean, with a unique look, and everyone was shocked to see this new avatar. Kittle surprised even his teammate Arik Armstead.

In the ad, Kittle jokingly says that fans can now enjoy their favorite football games without needing a satellite dish. Armstead’s cheeky compliment, “Nothing on your roof is diabolical,” created a stir among fans, and has collected over 210+ reactions to his comment. The video spread like wildfire, crossing 22k+ likes in just three hours.

Fans also did not stop from dropping their reactions one after another. One jokingly wrote, “Kittle, you’ve gone full villain!” and another said, “This is my new favorite ad! So funny!”. WWE wrestler Baron Corbin also shared his reaction and wrote, “Bro this would be me if I grew my hair out.” Meanwhile, Travis Kelce‘s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, also reacted and dropped her comment, “George??? 😭.”

Another celebrity WWE wrestler Enzo Amore gave a shout out to the ad creator, “The job where you sit in the room n come up w/ shit like this. That job: great job. Great job by the guy with the great job.”  

However, the series of reactions from fans did not stop there. Another fan wrote, “Now that’s a look 👀” While another comment came, “Oh we KNOW you had a blast shooting this 🤣.” And another fan describing Kittle’s new look wrote, “Roofless Kittle is a whole vibe.”

Kittle’s comedic stint definitely shows how athletes can engage with their fans. With humor and engagement at the forefront, Kittle is making waves in the world of sports advertising.

George Kittle, the 49ers’ star tight end, is now not only making a name for himself on the field but also in the business world, securing deals with brands like Bud Light, Nike, Gatorade, Xbox, and Levi’s. His endorsement portfolio is deep, including Zenni, which launched a signature eyeglasses collection for him and his wife. Not only this, but Kittle also made his presence felt in the trailer of ‘Venom 2’ and also founded Hidden Pearls Podcast along with his father Bruce and wife Claire.

Kittle’s influence is not limited to just endorsements. He created Tight End University, a dedicated football camp for NFL tight ends, along with fellow NFL veterans, former TE Greg Olsen and the Chiefs‘ TE Travis Kelce, which attracted more than 90 current and former TEs. Also, during the ‘My Cause My Cleats’ campaign, Kittle honored the TAPS organization, which supports military families, showing that he is not just an athlete, but also a socially aware icon.
