Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared some sad news with his fans. He announced that he would miss the upcoming Beer Bowl event, a beloved tradition, because of a scheduling conflict. Travis revealed this during a conversation on the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
Travis said, “Yeah, so, um, I think it’s about time we should probably tell the 92 percenters, um, the truth of the Beer Bowl. Unfortunately, I will not be attending this year.” Travis explained to 92 percenters he didn’t realize the event would coincide with his schedule.
The Beer Bowl, which is closely tied to the Eagles Autism Foundation event, has been a significant event for the Kelce. Fans love seeing him and Jason, an ex-player for the Philadelphia Eagles, together. However, this year, Travis has other commitments that he can’t cancel.

Jason tried to comfort their fans, saying, “The Beer Bowl doesn’t exist without you (fans).” Travis, however, assured everyone that the event would still be special, adding, “There will be another Kelce stepping up in my place that honestly will probably be 10 times better than any episode or any Beer Bowl that ever comes around again. So Kylie Kelce will be hosting Beer Bowl with Jason.” this revelation also surprised Jason.
Travis further joked by saying Kylie could back out if she was not available. Jason further said with confidence that his wife is great at hosting. As Kylie doesn’t know about it, Jason thinks he should ask her to be part of the Beer Bowl because she can not say no on Father’s Day.

Whether Kylie agrees to or not, only time will tell. This year marks the fourth consecutive year for the event. Other than hosting the event, Jason Kelce will serve as a celebrity bartender at the Ocean Drive bar on June 26, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Fans can attend by making a $10 donation, and those with VIP tickets get early access and a photo with Jason. In the past, Jason has invited teammates, family members, and friends to help him behind the bar. This list has included Travis, Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, and others. Excursion Park from noon to 3 p.m. This part of the event is free to attend, but families can donate $25 to participate in various activities and sponsor activations.
