Last time they won against the Dallas Cowboys 38-6 on January 5, 1992. The Lions’ fans were seen celebrating in tears after this historic win of breaking the NFL’s longest playoff losing streak. The Lions also became NFC North champions after 30 years.
In the final moments, QB Goff celebrated in utter joy and lifted his arms as the seconds counted down, with Detroit spectators witnessing the conclusion of a spectacular game.

David Montgomery’s 11-yard run secured a crucial first down, and after the two-minute remaining time, Jared Goff connected with Amon-Ra St. Brown for another first down, sealing the victory with a point.
Goff was then seen kneeling in a victory celebration against his former team. Head coach Dan Campbell looked thoroughly pleased with his team’s efforts, especially the QB of the side. During a press conference post-game, he called Goff’s play “top-notch football.” The coach continued saying, “He [Jared Goff] probably had two errors. Everything else was I thought on point….He looked relaxed.”
