Although the NFL community may think differently, Tyreek Hill has a unique take on Tua Tagovailoa. The WR’s ask of making Tua the highest-paid QB is ruffling some feathers for sure.

Hill praised the signal caller regarding his development on the field, irrespective of multiple injuries. “I feel like he should be one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the league“, said the Miami Dolphins WR. Cheetah has backed his QB multiple times as the potential highest-paid QB in the league. But bigger payrolls require impressive stats as a backup. And Tua might not have the best stats to show for himself. And the question that remains is: Is the Dolphins’ QB deserving?

Well, Craig Carton surely doesn’t think so, as he criticized Hill for his take on the Phins’ QB. On 15th July’s Craig Carton show, the analyst said, “He [Tua] hasn’t won a playoff game. At some point, you have to prove that you are THE guy. Tua hasn’t done that in a meaningful game.” Furthermore, the Dolphins’ QB has a history of multiple injuries that robbed him of the opportunities to shine on the gridiron.

However, it’s far from impressive that Tagovailoa is trusted by his WR. This trust might even confuse someone to think that the Phins’ signal caller is awaiting a lucrative contract. But you can’t be farther from the truth, as there’s more than what meets the eye!

As highlighted by Carton, the New York Giants should be a reminder for the Miami team. “Nobody wants to make the mistake the Giants did with Daniel Jones” is what he said concerning the Tagovailoa contract situation. Jones left the Giants to regret their decision with his inconsistent plays, mounting injuries, and a single playoff win. Since the Dolphins’ QB lost in the playoffs, it’s safe to say he is not meant to be the highest-paid QB, for now. And even though Hill is worried about the signal caller, it seems he himself might be in a precarious situation.

Still waiting for an extension: Tyreek Hill’s settlement with the Dolphins

Back in the Chiefs, Hill lacked targets, which fueled his way out of the team where he became the world champion. Despite being frustrated with the target issue, he would have still stayed with Andy Reid if the latter agreed to his contractual demands. Quite unimpressed with the Chiefs offer, the wide receiver decided to part ways. Furthermore, the lucrative 4-year contract offer from the Dolphins caught his eye.

After joining the Killer Bees, Hill is focused on winning the Super Bowl for his team. With significant scores in pass receptions, yard coverages, and touchdowns, the wideout is getting a handful amount per month. But it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the wideout is still on the waiting list for contract extensions. You might have seen the off-season contract extensions of the Eagles’ and the Vikings’ receivers. And Hill is missing!
