Amidst this, when Saleh was asked about his job security by one of the reporters, he had a rather direct reply. The reporter asked him, “I know this season hasn’t gone the way you wanted it to at 4-7, are you worried about your job security, if not, was that the case?”

Without even a moment of hesitation, the HC replied, “No, I’m not, I’m not worried about it.” The coach’s reply is sure to receive surprise from everyone around, knowing how troublesome the season has been for the New York Jets, with no signs of recovery as of now.

His unwavering stance about speculation for his job security potentially also reflected his commitment to navigating the team through this turbulent phase. However, Robert Saleh is not the only one facing this situation. Even veteran HC Bill Belichick has found himself in a similar crisis.
