KSI and Logan Paul’s brainchild, PRIME has been growing known at a rapid rate in the sports world. The hydration drink has its roots in UFC, WWE, Soccer, and even the NFL. Some might even remember the PRIME commercial during the Super Bowl that made rounds all around the football league. It was the Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes who became the first NFL player to partner with PRIME, and now his former teammate Tyreek Hill has followed in his footsteps recently.

The Miami Dolphins WR, Tyreek Hill has also joined KSI and Logan Paul. But this association has come at the cost of Hill being the next potential target of the Prime Curse, or that is at least what the public thinks.

Will Tyreek Hill be out of his ‘PRIME’?

Dov Kleiman’s recent post on X threw everyone off. He wrote, “Dolphins fans are worried about Tyreek Hill’s safety as the “Prime Hydration Curse” is going viral. 1. Alexander Volkanovski 2. Israel Adesanya 3. Devin Haney 4. Aaron Judge. All four of these athletes have fallen off since signing with Prime…” The post might incite a recency bias rather than a superstition.

However, Volkanovski recently got KO’d by Ilia Topuria, Devin Haney got bombarded by Ryan Garcia just a few days ago, Israel Adesanya got beaten by Sean Strickland and the story goes on. While all these stories form a common narrative, it is Patrick Mahomes who broke the superstition by winning the Super Bowl despite signing a PRIME deal in December 2023 and also doing a funny ad for them.

Yet, despite the slight odd in his favor, some fans are seriously thinking that Tyreek Hill is going to fall off his usual best. However, it is hard to imagine so with the Dolphins WR covering 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in the last season.

Fans think Dolphins WR’s downfall is just around the corner despite Mahomes’ super bowl victory

One account commented on the post, “He’s done. Bookmark this. Torn ACL.” Hill has repeatedly suffered heel and ankle injuries towards the end of the 2023 season, with one of them happening in a game against the Titans.

“He’s going to be out of the top 5 this year,” wrote another spectator for Tyreek Hill who stood at third position at the end of the 2023 season.

Another person brought up Mahomes in the conversation when he said, “My favorite QB, Patrick Mahomes, doesn’t believe in curses,” referring to the QB etching his name as the 2023 super bowl winner despite signing the deal with PRIME.

“Mahomes won super bowl after,” added another fan, reminding the sports world of the irregularity of the curse and how it is mere performance that needs to be under scrutiny rather than such outside factors.

Further, Mahomes’ Super Bowl praises didn’t stop there as another person wrote, “Yet Patrick Mahomes signs with prime and ends up winning a Super Bowl.”
