While Travis Kelce has failed to open his score in the end zone this season, he appears to be improving his skills elsewhere. As the Chiefs continue their winning start to the season, Kelce may have impressed his mother, Donna Kelce. Although the Chiefs’ TE hasn’t had a great time in the kitchen or doing household chores, Donna may have found some positives since her son’s burgeoning relationship with Taylor Swift.

In an interview with Extra TV, Donna shared, “He can’t clean, He can’t cook. He’s getting a little better. I think he’s getting some help.” Even though Donna laughed while sharing her son’s shortcomings and slight improvements. She may have teased us about Swift’s influence on Kelce’s life since the two have started dating together.

Back in April, Travis was captured kissing Taylor in their kitchen while they cooked, as she shared on a YouTube Short. When asked about sharing his time cooking with Swift, Kelce was rather shy about it, “I’m gonna keep that one to myself. Because I thoroughly enjoy cooking with her, so it’s something I’d rather keep personal.”

Well, Kelce didn’t stop there, as he praised Taylor for her special cuisines, “Taylor makes a great Pop-Tart and cinnamon roll.” While Donna spilled the beans on Kelce’s limitations in doing household chores, she continued to embarrass her son for lack of artistic flair, “I don’t know if he knows how to paint or do pottery or anything like that.”

But the 34-year-old didn’t shy away from praising his girlfriend’s talents that go beyond singing, “I’ve never been a man of words. Being around her, seeing how smart Taylor is has been mind-blowing. I’m learning every day.” Although Donna mostly opened up on her son’s lack of skills beyond the gridiron, she did speak about Travis Kelce enjoying his life.

Kelce has often faced criticism for his relationship with Taylor Swift, but his mom, Donna, has high praises for the couple, “Kind of interesting. I hope they’re having a good time.” But Donna didn’t stop on the couple’s praises as he spoke about the positive changes in Kelce’s life in recent times.

“It just seems like his life is on a trajectory that just is rising every single day and every time I turn around. I’m seeing him doing something different. Whether it’s on the golf course or at a concert or whatever, he’s just having his best life right now,” shared the 71-year-old mom. Well, she isn’t the only one who gushed about Kelce’s attitude, as Taylor Swift spoke highly of her boyfriend’s support, “Something that I’ll always remember is when I finished a take, and I’d say cut. I would always hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting it. That one person was my boyfriend, Travis.”

And the multiple times Grammy winner didn’t stop there as she added, “Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic.” Although Kelce’s mom and girlfriend are over the moon with the Chiefs TE, he may not be experiencing a great start to the season. With Kelce yet to score a touchdown after three games, his off-field antics may help the Pro Bowler come back to his best form on the field.
