People at Los Angeles did not get off to a good start in 2025. The wildfire catastrophe deeply damaged many families, including the Staffords. While Matthew Stafford was busy with his Wild Card round game against the Vikings. Kelly Stafford struggled to relocate their home with their daughters. She described the encounter as distressing for both herself and her family. When the family relocated to Pasadena, people welcomed them with open arms. And now that things have eased down, the QB has chosen to do something positive for the city as well. So when he was recently spotted at Pasadena High School, he made an announcement shocking many to the core.
LA was in deep trouble with the wild fire incident, but cities surrounding it came in just like a game-changing substitute. And well, as a thank you for that, Stafford decided to do something for the city too. Any guesses what the QB could have done? Money donation? Nuh-uh, he did something even better. Matthew Stafford decided to give kits and equipment for the upcoming future talent of the PHS football team.

In a meet and greet at the PHS, Stafford made this big announcement: “We were all kinda of living in here, you know, through all the, you know, the fires and all the stuff that happened, you know, about a month back. And it’s hitting close to home for my family. And I know it hit especially close to home for you guys. I just want to say that we are gonna make sure you guys are suited and booted next year. We got all new uniforms for you guys. “
This moment was just Oh! My! God! Everyone had the same reaction at the meet and greet when Stafford said these words. You can see how the boys were feeling about getting a new suit up for next year. The Pasadena Bulldogs can now go all in and have an even better season next year. After all, we all know that what they are capable of after watching their banger of a 2024 season. In case you missed it, the Bulldogs created history by winning the CIF Southern Section Division 13 Championship for the first time since 1933. Now that’s what you call a dream come true season.

Actually, Matthew Stafford now resides in California and The Golden State does have some tax issues. While in Nevada, there was no such rule regarding any types of taxes. Due to which Stafford used to keep all the money he got. And that is not going to happen now. In his $40 million per year signing, the QB is going to give California government a total of $5.2 million.
This amount consists of all the state and federal taxes, hence this is the minimum he needs to pay. Even when he finds himself in the middle of some tough situations, Stafford decided to make these donations to PHS. So, now you know why this donation feels right? Now you know why they call this QB a true legend.
