Kay Adams pointed out the inevitability of the Baltimore Ravens locking horns with the Kansas City Chiefs at some point. She wanted to know the significance of that game straight from Likely who has faced Patrick Mahomes and his team on several occasions. The ball is in the Ravens’ court and Likely is set to bounce back with the “new year new us” mentality.

“Me personally, I say it’s really that chance to show everybody like okay, they got the better of us last year. I mean they were Super Bowl champions, but this is a new year, new us and we’re going to see if you guys can do it twice,” said Likely, showing that his challenging spirit is not likely to give into pressure this year.

“At that point It’s just like you guys got to line it up again because you guys are on the schedule. I mean everybody sees it’s just now it’s just naming the place and the time,” added Likely as he dived into the changes the Ravens have made in the team. Note that this challenge is coming at a point when the Ravens don’t even know what their future schedule is like.

One of those highly anticipated changes came in the form of Derrick Henry, who has given new hope to the Ravens and people are excited about how the Lamar Jackson-Derrick Henry duo will look.

“[Lamar Jackson] ‘s one of the best if not the best player in this league. I’ve had respect for him ever since he came into this league [with] his body of work and what he’s been able to do, and [I have] respect for this organization as well,” said Henry of the Ravens QB1 at one point in time.

But Henry isn’t the only off-season prospect we are looking forward to seeing in the Ravens colors. The team also added the linebacker Chris Board, the tackle Josh Jones, cornerback Ka’Dar Hollman and receiver Deonte Harty. This effort to bolster their offense and defense might just work for Harbaugh and his squad.
