It was finding fun in chaos! You might be right in thinking that winning a final of a big continental competition might grab you the headlines. But that was not the case when Argentina won the Copa America final against Columbia, at the Hard Rock Stadium. The stadium in Miami grabbed the attention for all the wrong reasons. But Tyreek Hill enjoyed that!
On the morning of 15th of July, the Miami Dolphins WR tweeted about his experience attending the Copa America showdown. He wrote, “The energy inside that stadium last night was crazy!!! I loved it! 😎” Now, having a good experience by watching the finals from the stands. It’s amazing and all. But one that not many could get on the night in Miami.

Contrary to Tyreek Hill’s experience, many did not enjoy the atmosphere. The chaos caused by fan mobs outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami led to temporary gate closures and even delayed the kick-off for the 2024 Copa América final. The videos surfacing on the social media are not an easy watch.
Argentina players also felt helpless in getting their families inside amidst the chaos. FOX Sports’ Jenny Taft reported that several of the players, including star midfielder Enzo Fernández, struggled to get their families into the stands. Athletes want their families to watch and support them, especially when representing their national team. But here, they were struggling to do even that.
Officers managed to push the crowd behind gates and lock down the entrance. Though many fans had already made it to their seats. As fans forced open the stadium doors and crawled through air vents to get inside, reports indicate that several people were arrested and many needed medical attention.

The videos from before the kick-off make it seem like a scene from a post-apocalyptic film. Replay the scenes from the film World War Z in your head and then watch the clips from the final. You might understand.
Tyreek Hill is all familiar with the stadium. After all, it’s the home to the Dolphins. And with the NFL season to start soon, this does not give them a good PR. The $550 million stadium would need some repairing. Not only of the physical/property damages but also of the image.
Chaos or not, Hill enjoyed the “energy” as is evident from his tweet. But not just that, even his kids seemed to have a fun time at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Tyreek Hill’s kids are Lionel Messi fans!
Copa América finally kicked off 82 minutes after the scheduled time, ending with Argentina’s victory over Colombia after 112 minutes of play. And one could say that the large turnout for the event was because fans wanted to get a glimpse of arguably the GOAT of soccer, Lionel Messi. And among them were Tyreek Hill’s kids cheering for him.
Yes! The Phins’ WR didn’t go to the stadium alone. He revealed his four kids with an image he tweeted, captioning, “Somebody is happy to be watching Messi play. 😎” You could see one of his daughters, up front, posed in a way that appears that she is cheering. Although, they did not get to see their favorite soccer star play for the whole game as he limped off the field after 60 mins of playing time. Score line read 1-0 to Argentina. What a match it was, the kids got the glimpse of soccer at its peak.

Meanwhile, Hill’s tweet might have found the liking for all the wrong reasons. As comments highlighted that in the image, there are a few missing from his pack of ten or twelve. This comes in after the Dolphins WR confirmed on Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast that he might have 10 kids. Never mind the four out there watching the game with their dad, did witness their favorite soccer player play. Not only that, they also witnessed the crowning of Argentina as the continental winners, yet again! That’s a record-extending 16th title.
Happiness at the end? For the Hills, yes! But the damage done to the stadium might be there for some time to come. As for Tyreek, the Dolphins would be hoping that their WR could maintain the same level of the “energy” when the 2024 season begins.
