Despite Crying All Day, Patrick Mahomes’ ‘Refreshed’ Mom Randi Receives the ‘Best Compliment’ After Retirement

Randi Mahomes, the mother of Patrick Mahomes, was inconsolable after she retired from her job at Hollytree Country Club, “Same (crying emoji) all-day”, per Randi’s X reply to an emotional fan. Her job not only comprised of sheer hard work, but also was the root of several lifelong friendships. With her work stress finally finding the exit door, mama Mahomes seemed to be finally free as she bumped into a friend on 8th August.

“Bumped into a friend who said i looked very refreshed since retiring. Best compliment to me. 😊 Happy Day #blessed”, mama Mahomes tweeted. And it seems like the job of an event planner was not an easy one for Randi, “At my work, it’s really hard because 90 percent of my phone calls aren’t about work.” And, it seems like her friend finally found Randi in a ‘refreshed’ state after her retirement. Well, before she got this compliment, mama Mahomes’ retirement also led to an emotional reaction from another friend.

Meghan Howard, posted a tearjerking message on Instagram following the retirement of Randi Mahomes, “The years, laughs, memories, ‘meetings’, tears, life lessons, and even fights over the years will always hold a special place in my heart. Coming into work will never be the same,”. Although Meghan was very upset with the retirement of her lifelong friend, she was excited to see the new life of Randi, “but I’m so excited for the next chapter for my girl,”. Amidst triggering emotional reactions among her friends, it seems like R. Mahomes had something in her heart for her retirement.

“I look at some of my friends on social media and I’m jealous that they have this normal life,” said Randi, to express how she missed her normal life while working as an event planner. With two kids, Jackson and Patrick, her life seemed to be harder, as she was also a mother to Mia Randall. A family that eats together, stays together. But unfortunately, mama Mahomes seemed to be off-track as she struggled to maintain a balance between her family and job, “We just want to be normal and go and have dinner. We don’t do that.” It looks like, after 20 years of working in the Hollytree Country Club, mama Mahomes finally has time for herself.

As Patrick’s mother opened a new chapter of her book, the 3 time Super Bowl champion seems to grind with the Chiefs to tag another Lombardi trophy with his name.

The Chiefs’ QB seems to excel at the training camps, especially with his new targets, Worthy and Brown. And did you see his next-level skills as he went on blindfolded throws to his WRs? Well, KC Sports Network didn’t miss it as they shared in on X to which fans went wild, “More accurate blindfolded and dizzy than half the league”. Apart from this stunner from 3rd August, Mahomes came up with an insane back pass to Pacheco on 7th August’s training camp. It seems like the 28-year-old was preparing to shock everyone with his new skills. But that won’t come early as Andy Reid had some other plans.

Per Reid, the Chiefs’ first team will be playing only a few drives in the first quarter against the Jaguars, “In terms of play time for this game, we’ll do one for a quarter, two for the second, three for the third, and four for the fourth, and that’s it.” And, it seems like we have to wait a little longer to see Mahomes rock the gridiron as the seasons turn on.
