The Eagles’ star tried his luck in golf. And to everyone’s surprise, Jason Kelce shined in this one too. But it was still not enough for the retired NFL star. Why?
Can you beat Travis Kelce in hitting a powerful stroke on the golf course? The 3x Super Bowl champ, 2x NFL MVP winner, and the latest ESPY award holder, Patrick Mahomes, tried to beat his teammate and best friend, Travis Kelce. Even his brother, Jason Kelce, tried to surpass the new NFL’s golf striker, Travis, this time. But both failed, despite Jason’s victory.

In the viral video, the tournament host and attendees welcomed Kelce with a round of applause as he prepared to make a hit on Thursday. Following the welcoming speech, Jason stepped up, acknowledging the cheer. Before taking his shot, he practiced his swing, building a tense environment for the viewers.
As everyone held their breath, Jason smashed the ball for a long drive, ultimately securing the win. In the video, he was later seen celebrating with a sip from a champagne bottle, basking in the applause and hoorays for him.
But let’s not forget this: Jason is the second member of Kelce’s family, who has won the competition.

Travis Kelce is still the record holder!
Earlier, in July 2023, Jason Kelce’s younger brother, Travis Kelce, shattered all records to win the Korbel Champagne long-drive competition. That time he was accompanied by Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, to raise money for local and national charities at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nevada.

While Mahomes was able to put up a respectable score of 317 yards, the 34-year-old Kelce gave his incredible performance by putting up a record-breaking 362 yards to win the competition. Interestingly, before Mahomes took his final shot, he playfully challenged Kelce’s record, jokingly saying, “If I don’t beat Travis I can’t go back to camp.” With the Chiefs’ training camp scheduled for the following week at that time, the stakes were high. However, as Mahomes lost to the younger Kelce, he had to return to the camp with a loss.

That defeat and record also means, although Jason Kelce had won the latest tournament as well as beaten Mahomes, he was unable to beat his brother Travis, as he was still 40 yards behind Travis’ 362.
