At this stage of the regular season, losing a game brings with it major backlash for the management along with the QB majorly. This came true in the case of the New Orleans Saints. The Derek Carr-led team lost to the Los Angeles Rams due to some decisions that could have been given more forethought. The Saints had a chance of winning the match but blew it in the fleeting moments of the game.

Rich Eisen on his show talked about the Rams Vs. Saints game and pointed out what could have been different. The host stuck to his guns with Carr and said that choosing him to play with the Saints has been a ‘terrific choice.’ amidst the botch that ended up being the doom of this New Orleans team. Per Eisen, the Saints “had the Rams in a position, and they let them off the hook”

There were a lot of complications in the Rams vs Saints game as it approached the last quarter. The Rams had 3 timeouts left and the Saints took the option of punting the ball and not running it. Per Eisen, this is what caused the problem because the Saints turned the ball over to the Rams. The New Orleans team had a chance to win the game with a couple of minutes left on the clock, but they didn’t execute various decisions correctly. This is also what irked a fan, who thought Derek Carr was at fault here and poured his heart out to Rich Eisen.

The host though, had a different take on the situation. The Saints scored two touchdowns in the 4 quarter and still had 3:53 left on the clock and yet were unable to strategize in the meantime. They didn’t utilize the kick well enough, and Carr had a massive interception after halftime that allowed the Rams to score some extra points.

“I couldn’t believe the decision making and I don’t mean to go all in here on it but I’m, but I think I’m giving a viewpoint to Saints fans right now and if they don’t make the playoffs, and if they do turn to their coach, this moment like, right here, they could have beaten the Rams.”
