Denver Broncos’ Woman Cheerleader Details Her Incredible NFL Experience in Must-Watch Video

The Denver Broncos have had a lot of hiccups in the 2023 regular season. With a 2-5 record, their comeback seems like a lost cause. Russell Wilson and Co. are having a horrible season, but at least the cheerleaders are doing an exceptional job. Ahead of Halloween, the Broncos decided to spotlight their cheer squad, who are going with a Harry Potter theme this season.

The video on Denver Bronco Cheer shares the story of Shannon, who has been a Broncos cheerleader for quite some time. She shares anecdotes about her life, her time with the NFL, and the Denver Broncos. Shannon is in her third season with the NFL as a cheerleader and has some experience to share.

Denver Broncos: Going all in

Shannon is a Colorado native and teaches English to kids at a middle school. She picked English as a subject because she likes to read. But it was not always the case. When she was little, she read The Tale of Despereaux in the fourth grade, which piqued her interest in reading books, and she didn’t look back ever since. Shannon enjoys teaching middle school kids because they are not ‘sassy’ and are fun to teach.

“When I was little, I hated reading, and then I read the Tale of Despereaux in like fourth grade, and something about it struck a chord with me,” says Shannon in the interview.

Interestingly, her mother used to teach kindergarten, but Shannon can’t do it because those kids are too little for her to handle. She says her favorite ice cream flavor is mint chocolate chips; the bittersweet taste of the ice cream hits the spot for Shannon. She also has a furry companion she cannot live without and misses him whenever she is on the road. As for the books, she mentioned that she has been an avid Harry Potter fan ever since her niece started enjoying the books and the movies.

She and her family took a test and were assigned to the House of Slytherin, which she thinks comes from her wit. Shannon mentions that she likes cheerleading because of the electrifying energy on game day. The bands playing, the fans cheering, and the paratroopers get her excited as a cheerleader and give her the adrenaline rush she needs that has made her NFL experience beyond incredible.

The Broncos seriously need Shannon

The team is having a dismal season, to say the least, as they rank dead last in the AFC West. With a record of 2-5, they will put up a fight with the Kansas City Chiefs. It looks like an uphill battle, and the cheerleaders would not be enough to pull this victory. Considering the Chiefs’ offense and defense, Russell Wilson and the Broncos need to be worried about the upcoming game.
