The Kansas City Chiefs are 4-0 as Swifties. But is it time for the Chiefdom to panic, as there is a high chance that Taylor Swift might not show up for the Broncos game? The Chiefs have played some of their best games when their TE Travis Kelce’s rumored beau was cheering for them from the stands. In the last 10 years, the two divisional rivals have faced off 21 times, with the Broncos winning only 5 games. Momentum is on the Chiefs’ side, as they have a 16-game winning streak against Denver.

But the Orange Crush threat should not be underestimated. For starters, they’re playing on their home turf of Empower Field, and as Russell Wilson said, they “feed off the energy of fans.” They also recently beat Aaron Rodgers’ former team, the Green Bay Packers. Although the Chiefs beat the Broncos 19-8, it was their second-lowest score this season, so Broncos fans shouldn’t lose hope.

Travis Kelce is a different animal when Swift is around. Shannon Sharpe, “UNC,” probably the greatest TE of all time, said that Kelce might cross his 6-game record of 150+ yards in one game in the coming few weeks. That would put Kelce ahead of everyone in the “TE Elites” clique. I mean, who would not disappoint his (rumored) girlfriend by performing poorly during a football game?

The Chiefs team, as a whole, also has performed better with Swift in the stadium. The SB reigning champs have recorded the least offensive passing yards in the two games she did not attend: the Lions and Vikings games. Kansas City recorded their only loss of the season in Week 1, and she only came in during Week 3. They have also outscored opponents 114-55 in games the billionaire singer has attended.

But we have reason to believe she might not attend the Broncos game. So is it time for the Chiefs’ 6-game winning streak to end, or will they continue to win without their talisman?

Will Taylor Swift ‘betray’ her beau’s team this Sunday?

The only game “America’s Sweetheart” missed since the two started hanging out together was the Vikings match in Minnesota. That was a road game, and unlike NYC, which she attended, she does not have an expensive home in Minnesota. Last we checked, neither does she in Denver, so we’re making an educated guess that she will skip this match.

With temperatures slated to drop to 22 degrees in Denver, will she prove to be just a “fair-weather” fan of the Chiefs? The last time the singer-songwriter was at Empower Field, she serenaded about 140,000 Swifties over two nights, July 14 and 15, during her wild $6-billion worth Eras Tour. Will she make it to Denver, even though she might not make $13 million, the average amount she earns per concert? The Denver Broncos face off against the Chiefs at Empower Field on October 29 at 4:25 PM ET.
