However, it never materialized, and the team might now regret it after seeing how terrific the WR has been thus far this season.

This is flawless, and now that fans know how the Cowboys rejected the WR, a backlash for the team has begun. This may appear odd, but it is the desire of a ferocious fan. He argued that the Dallas Cowboys should not have rejected the WR like that, and in retaliation, the wide receiver should give them a taste of their own medicine.

One fan wanted Henry to shout out Jerry Jones every time the wide receiver rushed for 100 yards in a game. Although 100 yards in a game is challenging, Henry has made it seem simple this season. The comment read, “I wish Derrick Henry would give a shoutout to Jerry Jones after every game where he has 100 yards”

This was not the only case, as when asked why Jones and the Cowboys rejected the WR, the millionaire delivered an unexpected response. He argued that the WR was too old for the squad, and supporters now believe this was a ridiculous argument. They pointed this up to X, claiming that Henry is a generational talent. They stated, “Old and out of touch. Henry is generational and makes any offense exceedingly better.”
