Looks like Patrick Mahomes’ household is about to get even more chaotic, and Grandpa Pat Mahomes Sr. couldn’t be more thrilled. Just days before his third DUI hearing, Brittany Mahomes shared a heartwarming gender reveal video on Instagram, announcing their third child—a baby girl!

The adorable IG video captioned “Baby Mahomes #3” featured the Mahomes fam—Patrick, Brittany, and their two adorable kiddos, Sterling and Bronze. Sterling, the soon-to-be big sis, took center stage with a giant tic-tac-toe board. One big move later, and bam! Out popped a pink puff! Grandpa Pat Mahomes Sr. couldn’t contain his excitement, commenting, “Can’t wait to see her! Pat Pat is so excited!”

Pat Mahomes Sr. faces third DUI charge amidst family celebrations 

The Chiefs’ star QB’s father, Mahomes Sr., faced his third strike with DWI charges on Feb 3, just days before his son’s Super Bowl victory. He was officially indicted in Smith County, Texas, on a ‘Driving While Intoxicated’ charge.

Back in 1994, the 53-year-old faced a DUI (Driving Under Influence) charge, which reportedly led to a car accident. Fast forward to 2016, and he dealt with a public intoxication charge during a college football game between Texas Christian and Texas Tech University. Then, in 2018, another DUI landed Mahomes Sr. with a 40-day sentence. Now, this third potential felony charge could bring a hefty fine of $10,000 and even a 10-year prison sentence.

While details of the February arrest haven’t been released, it’s clear this isn’t Patrick Mahomes’ dad’s first strike off the baseball field. Pat Sr. is a retired MLB pitcher who’s played for several teams—the New York Mets, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, Boston Red Sox, etc.—from 1992 to 2003. 

With the arrival of his new granddaughter, let’s just hope that Mahomes Sr. learns from his past mistakes and sidesteps any legal fumbles.
