The off-season is a perfect time to devote to friends, family, and loved ones. The New Patriots’ defensive tackle, Davon Godchaux, did the same, but he went a step further. Godchaux went ahead and got married to the supermodel Chanel Iman. This wholesome day came after the couple gave birth to their first child in September last year.

Vogue paid tribute to the newlywed couple in their recent Instagram post. They got married in the Caribbean Sea amidst a handful of people. The couple is happy about the idea of their “blended” wedding. From meeting at a beach club in Miami to proposing in Italy, Godchaux and his supermodel wife have come far.

Vogue’s post on Instagram shows the couple’s wedding photo. The New England Patriots DT holds the newborn Capri Summer Godchaux while daughters Cassie and Callie seem fixated on something else. The couple hired a yacht called the Parillion that went from island to island on the Caribbean Sea.

“We planned the wedding the way we desired—doing something together that we love with our kids and our blended family,” the supermodel explained to Vogue and added, “This was our ideal dream day. A handful of people attended the wedding and we chartered a yacht to sail from island to island in the Caribbean Sea.”

Iman is wearing a dress, a work of Zuhair Murad, a Lebanese fashion designer. “I am so thankful to his team for making it happen for me,” she said, adding, “Season after season, I lust over his gowns.”

While her Lebanese attire was alluring, the kids wore “flower girl dresses” by Mona Lisa. The journey to her wedding had been long, but they planned to spend some quiet days at Cap Juluca, Anguilla. Maybe after that, she will head to her glamorous yet laborious job as a model.

Before Godchaux, she was married to the New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard. She has two children with him, the baby girls Cassie and Callie. The couple were married for three years before ending their marriage in June 2021. But before the marriage, the Victoria’s Secret Angel had achieved quite a feat in fashion.

Vogue Paris declared her among the Top 30 models of the 2000s. She has been modeling from a young age and started modeling with Ford Models in Los Angeles, California. She won the Ford’s Super Model of the World contest in 2006. Not only that, but she’s walked on runways for giants like Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, to name a few.

Hopefully, her newfound life inspires her to make the best of her life and career.
