Davante Adams is a family man! The wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders is one of the few NFL athletes who is blessed with a well-rounded supportive cast both on and off the field. While the 31-year-old is preparing to correct 2023 mistakes this season with his team and decent-looking quarterback, Aidan O’Connell, he also watches his daughters growing up with immense pride.

Davante Adams and his wife, Devanne Villarreal, are blessed with two beautiful daughters – Daija Leigh and Dezi Lynn. After one year of their marriage in 2018, Adams and Villarreal welcomed their first child, Leigh, in September 2019. Leigh is special for Adams, as when Adams celebrated her 4th birthday, the WR shared some dreamy pictures of her child and family. In the caption, he wrote, “You came in this world and gave me purpose…I love you Daija. Happy 4th Birthday big girl.”

In another interview, he mentioned that whenever he sees Leigh, he is reminded of his mother, Pamela. She was one of the greatest supports in his life. After Leigh, three years later, in April 2022, the couple welcomed their second daughter Lynn. For Adams, being a father is like a purpose – a purpose to grow and achieve more for the daughters. There is no doubt that Adams has been a great father to the duo.

Even wife Villarreal once mentioned in an ESPN interview, his bond with his daughters, giving him the title of “best girl dad.” Besides that post, the couple frequently keep sharing pictures of their adorable daughters on their official social media accounts. On the other hand, the growing children love their father a lot and keep visiting his NFL games with momma Villarreal.

Once during a game in 2022, the kids were captured cheering for their father. The two beautiful children were wearing a sparkling Raiders jersey with “Daddy” and his jersey number “17” written on it, an evident form of support and love for their father.  Adams is lucky to have a beautiful family with his love of life, Villarreal as the two share a special bond.

The couple, Davante Adams and Devanne Villarreal, originally met as students at Fresno State University in 2012. After years of relationship, in 2017, Adams proposed to Villarreal on a photoshoot-themed proposal. Villarreal later revealed that at first, she thought it was a photoshoot. However, when Adams asked for her hand, she understood the surprise.

Adams’ college sweetheart shared her thoughts on this dreamy surprise. She said, “thought out the most perfect, creative, heart felt, breathtaking proposal” on her Instagram. Then a year later, in 2018, they entered into another step of relationship, i.e. marriage. The couple finally tied the knot with each other in Monterey County, California, at Pebble Beach.

Moreover, besides their two daughters, the couple is also going to welcome their third child (probably a baby boy) together soon, as announced by them on Instagram in April this year. Hence, the Adams family is excited to live that moment of parenthood again!
