In a league like the NFL, trash talk gets thrown around all the time. People love taking jabs at each other. Can’t blame them, the rivalry is intense! And God knows why, but Jerry Jones and his team are always targeted, often becoming meme material. Well, Jones’ shenanigans are pretty popular in the NFL.

But you’ve to admit, he keeps the fans entertained. He’s the most unpredictable guy in the NFL, even more unexpected than some games. So, people love throwing shade at him. This time, it’s Jay Gruden with a message for him.

As the Washington Commanders gear up to take on Jones’ Cowboys today at Northwest Stadium, former Commanders coach Jay Gruden has a message for Dan Quinn’s guys. “Hey, Commanders’ Jay Gruden here. They say never kick a man while he’s down. Well, the Cowboys are down. Kick the hell out of them. Let’s go H-T-T-R”, said Gruden in a video he posted on X. Woah! That might have hit Jerry Jones’ ego.

But looks like the Commanders’ fans loved Gruden’s message. “Best thing you’ve ever posted“, wrote a user in the comment section. Looks like the Commanders’ army is ready to take the Cowboys down. The Cowboys don’t have much to lose at this point. Thanks to their terrible performance this season, barely managing three wins, the championship’s out of the question for them this time. But for the Commanders, the hopes are still very much alive. They have to make sure to secure this win as well because if they lose, it’s going to hurt their chances.

The Commanders are 7-4, but they’ve lost their last two games against the Eagles and Steelers. The Commanders and Cowboys are divisional rivals (NFC East), and their rivalry goes way back. So, this game is going to be interesting. Who will come out as the winner? We’ll find out in a few hours. But for now, Jerry Jones’ team does not look strong, as some key players are sidelined due to injury.

Jerry Jones’ team is in trouble ahead of the Commanders’ clash.

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Commanders capitalize on the Cowboys' slump, or will Dallas surprise everyone with a comeback?

Have an interesting take?

If the ship’s leaking, even the best captain can’t steer it. But do the Cowboys have their best captain? The situation says otherwise. Some players on the Cowboys’ squad are dealing with injuries, including CB Trevon Diggs (groin) and safety Markquese Bell (shoulder). And that’s not good news for their fans. To add to their woes, star TE Jake Ferguson is also out due to a concussion he suffered in the last game against the Texans.

On the flip side, things seem a bit brighter for the Commanders. CB Marshon Lattimore is out with a hamstring injury, but they’ve got a couple of options. Who’ll step up in his place is still not known. Looks like the Commanders have the upper hand in this one. Eyes will be on Jayden Daniels, as he started strong. Although he hasn’t been in top form during the last two games against the Eagles and Steelers, we know what he’s capable of. After all, people have been quick to compare him to Lamar Jackson.

So, buckle up as we dive into another rivalry of the 2024-25 NFL season!
