Dan Campbell’s Lions are reigning supreme at the top of the NFC after 13 weeks of the regular season. Even after losing 13 defensive players and 18 in total to their injury reserves, the Lions continue to march on. Facing the Packers on Thursday, the Lions narrow 34-31 victory helped them clinch their playoff spot this season. While it’s time for everyone in Motor City to rejoice and look forward to their postseason, Dan Campbell’s wife has a message for someone.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Holly Campbell shared a reel of NFL widow Kimberly Alexander, who remains a close friend of the Lioness. Kimberly posted a compilation of Holly and her having their best time together watching the Lions game on Thursday. They took pictures showcasing their bond and captioned it with “Me and my girl Holly.” Apart from that, they were also captured clicking snaps with American hip-hop artist Flavor Flav.

But Holly had a different message for Kimberly while reposting her reel. She tagged Alexander and wrote, “Detroit needs you back ASAP.” Well, that plea to have Kimberly back could have stemmed from the time they spent together during the Packers game. Fortunately, the Lions are playing their next game at home against the Bills. But there aren’t any confirmations on whether Kimberly will attend or not.

Kimberly has chosen to dedicate her life to fighting for those who are facing health adversities. Apart from her own company that pledges to eliminate health struggles. She remains a cancer advocate, sitting on the board of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of North Texas.

While Holly waits for Kimberly to join back next week, her husband’s gamble against the Packers helped the Lions qualify for the playoffs.

Detroit fans were left awestruck by Dan Campbell’s last-minute calls

If it wouldn’t have been for Dan Campbell’s risky call against the Green Bay. Who knows, maybe the Packers might have come away with a victory in Downtown Detroit. See, going into the second half, the Lions had a 10-point lead on their hands. But slowly, it started to slip through their grasp as the Packers tied the game 31-31 with four minutes remaining on the clock. So the Lions had two options in their hand: either go for fourth and inches or rely upon a field goal.

What’s your perspective on:

With Campbell's bold calls, are the Lions the most exciting team to watch this season?

Have an interesting take?

Usually, the teams go for a safer option, considering the game still was anyone’s to lose. But Campbell surprised everyone in the NFL when he chose the riskier option. And guess what? It paid off. Jared Goff’s short pass to David Montgomery helped the Lions secure their first down. And from there, they started playing the clock to their advantage. To end the proceedings, Jake Bates’ 35-yard field goal secured the Lions their victory 34-31.

This led fans to appreciate Campbell’s calls, which eventually helped them get over the line. One of them called the Lions head coach, “You absolute MANIAC.” There was another fan who wasn’t even willing to take the same risk in Madden, “I wouldn’t even play as aggressively in Madden as Dan Campbell plays in real life.” Well, those reactions didn’t stop there as another called Campbell an absolute “psychopath.”

Seeing their reactions, can you really blame them? The way they are winning games out of tough situations. This team would surely be a headache for everyone in the postseason.
