It’s easy to picture Dan Campbell on the sidelines, veins popping, passion pouring out as he fires up his Lions. But behind the scenes, it is Holly Campbell, his wife, who supports his endeavors. One look at her Instagram account and you’ll understand how much she supports the Detroit Lions. But within one of her social media posts, deep in the comment section, she revealed a difficult journey that no one knew about.

Holly is quite active on social media and so, when she hit 100k followers on Instagram, a celebration was due. She posted an adorable pic with Dan on Instagram and gave a shout-out to her fans, writing, “Woke up to 100k…y’all that’s nuts!! Thank you guys for being so nice while I stumble through this little journey💙 If you want to see anything off-season related, let me know!! But go easy on Dan requests..he’ll get cranky😂”

The post received thousands of comments, but one particular comment caught Holly’s attention. A fan questioned, “As an esthetician I want to know your skincare routine!!! Your skin is [fire emojis].”

Responding to this, Holly wrote, “When I was diagnosed with rosacea, I started using Avene products. Holy c— they are good!!”

Now, Holly did not mention any particular product from Avene, but the brand claims their products can help with symptoms of rosacea. As per their website, “Though there are many treatments available, Avène has a proven track record in treating redness and rosacea. However, before beginning any treatment therapy you should consult your dermatologist to ensure the correct measures are being taken to address your particular symptoms.”

Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can flare up due to stress, diet, weather, or even intense emotions. As per Cleveland Clinic, it affects more than 4 million people in the U.S. While rosacea can affect almost anyone, it often affects people with fair skin and women. In rare circumstances, it can also affect children and adolescents.

Some celebrities with the condition are Cameron Diaz, Bill Clinton, Sofia Vergara, and also Mariah Carey.
