The Lions are on the top spot of the NFC North with 12 wins. In the week 14 matchup, the Packers wanted revenge for the week 9 loss. But alas, they couldn’t. The Lions defeated them again by 34-31. However, the head coach, Dan Campbell, had other plans.

During the post-game conference, the coach found out that they had secured a playoff spot. He also confessed to his mistake of not telling the team about the milestone and said, “Yeah, listen, it’s great. We’re in the playoffs. I wish I’d have told the team I didn’t tell them I had no idea, but honestly, I think I think they know.

Though he made a mistake in telling his team about the playoff qualification, Dan Campbell was fearless in his aggressive play-calling against the Packers. It was in the 4th quarter when the Lions were at 4th & 1 with 44 seconds in the game. The scores were tied at 31 each, but instead of a field goal, they decided to press forward.

It paid off as they got their chance again. With 2 seconds left, Jake Bates scored the field goal from 35 yards. The Lions are the first team from the NFC to enter playoffs. In the post-game presser, he laughed and wished his team the best of luck.

The head man, Jared Goff, has given everything in their pursuit. After the win, he was relaxed that they had crossed the first level.
