Was Rashee Rice involved in the Dallas accident? The six-vehicle accident last Saturday evening has caused a storm in the NFL world, as many suspected the Chiefs’ wide receiver to be one of the men who fled away soon after the cars’ collision on Central Expressway near University Blvd, as per the viral video.

Since then, police reportedly started searching for him, allegedly claiming that one of the vehicles involved in the wreck was registered to him. Amidst all these controversies, another footage came out, reportedly suggesting Rice’s party time with mom, just before the nasty accident.

Is that Rashee Rice or someone else?

As per a new report by TMZ, Chiefs star WR Rashee Rice was seen celebrating with family and friends on an unknown special occasion at a restaurant/bar, before one of his registered cars was involved in an awful accident in Dallas. Photos obtained by TMZ from that restaurant/bar, show Rashee with his mother, Marsha Kearney, and others appearing to have a good time raising toasts and clicking selfies.

However, it was unclear if Rice was drinking, but alleged witnesses say he was there and in high spirits. Furthermore, eagle-eyed social media users wasted no time comparing the t-shirt worn by Rice in the restaurant to the one worn by the person who fled from the accident scene.

They are speculating that the t-shirt he was wearing at the restaurant looks similar to one worn by the allegedly involved person in the accident. On the other hand, police haven’t confirmed Rashee’s involvement, but it is reported that one of the wrecked cars is registered to him. Dashcam footage captured the accident, confirming two cars were speeding before a collision. After the crash, four men were seen casually walking away from the scene. A new video also showed them ignoring bystanders’ questions about leaving their cars behind.

Besides this, one victim from the crash Kayla Quinn, described the chaos saying that “she was driving the silver car that was initially struck in a multi-car wreck…..it all happened within minutes.” She also revealed that she started a GoFundMe to cover her costs.

Meanwhile, Rashee Rice finally addressed the incident, revealing his thoughts via his attorney.

What did Rashee Rice’s attorney say on his behalf?

The Dallas Morning News obtained a police call sheet listing Rice as the suspected driver of the Corvette involved in the crash. Rice’s attorney, Royce West, addressed the situation, expressing his client’s concern for those affected by the accident and stating that Rice is cooperating with the authorities’ investigation.

West assured that Rice is committing to handle the matter responsibly. He released a statement emphasizing, “On behalf of Rashee Rice, his thoughts are with everyone impacted by the automobile accident on Saturday. Rashee is cooperating with local authorities and will take all necessary steps to address this situation responsibly. Any and all requests for comment can be directed to his attorney, Mr. Royce West of West & Associates, LLP.”

As per TMZ, despite reaching out to Rice’s attorney regarding the new images showing him celebrating before the incident, there has been no response yet. Additionally, the Dallas Police Department stated that they still need to speak directly with the athlete, despite having contacted his legal team.
