Dak is the youngest child of Nathaniel and Peggy, following his older brothers Tad and Jace. He got his football talent from his dad, who played defensive end and outside linebacker at Grambling State University. Peggy didn’t play football, but she was a huge fan. She even got a tattoo of a football with the number three inside it to honor her sons. “Even with the cannon going off and the crowd cheering, you could still hear my mom’s sharp whistle over everyone,” Dak shared with ESPN in 2013, adding that she would shout, ‘Hit him!’ throughout the game.
