Alright, here’s the deal. The Cowboys didn’t exactly have the standout season. Seven wins? Yeah, not the kind of stat you want to brag about. But here’s where it gets interesting, while the team might not have been hitting their stride, one guy took it upon himself to show out. (I mean, why not, right?) Enter Cooper Beebe. He wasn’t just playing to fill a spot on the roster. Beebe was out there turning heads and getting things done. And even though the spotlight wasn’t shining all that bright on Dallas, Cooper was quietly setting a record that had everyone talking.

Wondering what the latest NFL tea is? Well, this time, it’s all about an achievement. Cooper Beebe, the Cowboys’ rookie center, just made it into the NFL record books. (And yeah, he did it in his rookie year). The 23-year-old couldn’t wait to share the news, dropping a post on Instagram with the caption, “Rookie year in the books.” Now, if you know anything about the Cowboys, you know Dak Prescott wasn’t gonna let this one slide. Of course, he had to drop a comment, showing some love for his young teammate. The QB commented, “The best is ahead.” (Topped off with a fire emoji and raised fist.)

When Cooper Beebe kicked off his season, let’s just say the center position wasn’t exactly handed to him on a silver platter. (You know how the NFL works). He had to fight it out against another player, Brock Hoffman, for the spot. Beebe didn’t back down and earned a spot on the active roster. Fast forward to game day against the Browns, and there’s Dak Prescott, pulling him aside with some words of wisdom, “Understand that you have the talent, you’ve got the makeup to do this.”

It looks like that talk from Dak Prescott paid off big time. Not only did Cooper earn a spot on the playing roster, but he also added a major NFL feat to his promising career.

Cooper Beebe hits the NFL record books

Cooper Beebe has officially made his mark in the NFL record books, ranking second for the lowest pressure rates allowed by rookie offensive linemen in the 2024 season (with at least 175 pass-blocking snaps). Sure, the Cowboys didn’t have the best season, only scraping seven wins. And Beebe may not be happy with how the team performed overall. But let’s be real, he’s got to be proud of what he accomplished individually, making it onto that record list. Not many rookies can say they’ve done that.

Beebe’s mom, Tamara, must be so proud of her son. After all, she was there every step of the way, even helping him practice snaps before his first NFL game. Yep, the game against the Browns that the Cowboys won 33-17. Tamara decided to step in when she saw Cooper practicing snaps in their backyard in Kansas City. “I was just being a mom, out there helping him,” she said.

Cooper Beebe shines in a tough Cowboys season—Is he the future of Dallas' offensive line?

Have an interesting take?

Cooper Beebe’s been straight-up dominant in pass protection this season. With a pressure rate of just 2.9%, yeah, you heard that right. He’s barely allowed any pressure on the quarterback. Out of a whopping 631 pass-blocking snaps, he’s only given up pressure 18 times. That’s next-level stuff for a rookie! To put it simply, Beebe’s been holding it down on the offensive line, doing his job without much drama, and making sure the QB stays clean.

To top that list, though, is Pittsburgh SteelersZach Frazier. This guy’s been out here making pass protection look easy, with a pressure rate of just 2.3%. Sadly, both teams couldn’t make it deep into the postseason. The Cowboys said goodbye early in December, while the Ravens kicked the Steelers out in the wild-card round. But hey, there’s always next season!
