The Dallas Cowboys are in deep waters. The situation is critical. They might not come to the top now. It all started during the week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons. When their leader, Dak Prescott, injured his hamstring, fans knew something was fishy. Now, gloomy updates are coming out about the veteran quarterback. It’s heartbreaking!
The America’s Team was weighing their options about putting him on the Injured Reserve (IR). He would be out for at least 4 games if they do that. Now, Jane Slater updated the fans that the doctors would need to cut off the part of the hamstring tendon off the bone. The recovery time after such a process is more than 4 weeks. A fan advised the QB to miss the remaining games and wrote, “I’d sit out the year if I was him, they have nothing to gain.” But that’s not all.
There are other treatment methods available as well. In some cases, the tendon is made to scar, repair, and then get strengthened. Even if Dak Prescott went that route, the chances that he would return in time for the Cowboys were almost negligible. The season is halfway. Everything’s at stake here.

As the #Cowboys weigh in on Dak Prescott’s IR status, sources tell me the initial diagnosis is a partial avulsion of his hamstring tendon which is partially torn off the bone. I’m told it typically takes more than a 4 week recovery. In some cases, they let it scar over, repair…

The team also understands the critical juncture of the season. Jerry Jones is taking his time to put him on IR. Even the signal-caller is taking second opinions about the injury. Going under the knife would certainly end his 2024 season. However, things are beyond anyone’s control.
The injury has turned the fans’ worst fears into sadness. They cannot control their emotions and come out with those on X.
