The TD gave the Dallas Cowboys a needed first-quarter lead, which helped the team secure a 7-point lead. During the helm of play, Prescott escaped from getting sacked and shot a rocket at WR Ceedee Lamb.

The Lions forgot to cover the amazing WR, and Lamb just jogged to the end zone with ease. This is also the second-longest TD secured by the Cowboys. They made their case the longest in the history of the NFL, more than 40 years ago.
The record has changed the history books
In the 1983 thriller that the Vikings won 31-27, it was the Dallas Cowboys who made all the headlines. Legendary QB Danny White passed the ball to Tony Dorset, and the Cowboys registered a 99-yard TD with just ten men on the field. Even the Vikings coach admired the play from the sidelines.
