It is time! The Pro Bowl event is just around the corner, and voting has begun. Each player is requesting votes for themselves. And the Dallas Cowboys players are no different. But while they are doing this fans have pointed out how a rookie has got Dak Prescott’s top position. For those who have missed it, Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is leading the NFC QBs in an early Pro Bowl release. And this was Prescott’s spot last year. This is upsetting for Cowboys fans, but their team’s long snapper appears to be focused solely on his votes.
The player here is Trent Sieg, who utilized the funniest approach to seek Pro Bowl votes. The man took on X to post a funny video of his performance. Sieg Photoshopped his face into a movie scenario where the long snapper runs like a train. Nobody can stop him, and it appears that the Long Snapper feels the same way. This was a new approach for him to showcase himself at the Pro Bowl, and so far the fans are loving it.
Trent Seig wrote in the tweet, “Now that Pro Bowl voting is live, I’m going to start posting some of my highlights to remind y’all who you’re dealing with. Vote below! #ProBowl #americansnapper https://dallascowboys.com/pro-bowl-games/vote/special-teams/ls/dallas-cowboys/”

While Seig is promoting himself, the fans after seeing his tweet missed Prescott’s presence in the Pro Bowl. If you recall, the quarterback sustained a season-ending partial avulsion in his right hamstring. This happened during the Cowboys’ Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Prescott might have been a huge competitor in the Pro Bowl, having won it in 2016, 2018, and 2023. On the other side, young sensation Jayden Daniels has been a tornado in this year’s voting.
It would have been interesting to see what the ranks would be if Prescott had never been injured. Perhaps that will happen next season but, when is Prescott going to return next season?

Dak Prescott reveals the return date following season-ending surgery.
The Cowboys fans have been waiting for this statement from Prescott for weeks. And it looks like their main QB has finally confirmed that he will return soon. In an interview, Dak Prescott spoke extensively about his operation and how it terminated his 2024 season. However, the man said that he is now feeling better and plans to return soon. Although not this season, he can take over immediately once the season ends.
The QB explained his plans, “My plan is to start OTAs and start the offseason with no restrictions, full go.” While on the one hand, he prepares to return, on the other hand, his team is finally back on track. His untimely injury cost the Cowboys a couple of games. However, with Cooper Rush, the squad is regaining momentum in the game. They have won two games in a row, and their upcoming game against the Bengals is much anticipated.

The Cowboys’ comeback with their backup quarterback is incredible, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen something like this in the NFL. If you recall the 2019 season, something similar happened to the New Orleans Saints. Drew Brees, the team’s top quarterback, suffered a thumb injury and was out for five games. While everyone predicted the team’s demise, backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater saved them. They lost their first game without Brees but then won five straight games.
And with the current situation with the Cowboys. It is safe to say that they are on the same route after Dak Prescott’s injury. It’ll be intriguing to see if Cooper Rush can be like Bridgewater and raise his team’s standings.
