“I’ll never forgive my NY GIANTS for letting Saquon Barkley go.” Mark McEathron and many other fans are upset with the New York Giants for letting Saquon Barkley move to the Philadelphia Eagles. Even the team wrapped up the season with just 3 wins and 14 massive losses, causing more chaos among the admirers. Nevertheless, as now Philly has won the NFC championship, it has added more hatred to the company. This time by the Cowboys’ legend.
Dez Bryant, who played with Dallas for eight seasons from 2010 to 2017, minced some harsh words for the Giants’s locker room. On his official X account, he wrote, “The only player over there who’s legit is Malik Nabers… Other than that, sorry to break it to you buddy, you guys are awful. Cut all of that political shit out! …You better hope they don’t trade your ass the way you’re hyping (laughing emoji) …Pipe down buddy… I bet not see you looking for a trade or cut.” Ouch! That’s a harsh one. Let us remind you that Bryant’s statements didn’t just pop out of nowhere.
This statement from him came as a response to the Giants’s defensive lineman, Kayvon Thibodeaux. Just some minutes ago on Sunday, the 24-year-old player tried to troll his team’s haters by saying: “I’m shooting on any old head mentioning the giants from here on out.” Probably, this ideology didn’t sit well with Dez Bryant, especially after their Saquon Barkley move. Hence, he decided to troll the entire Giants’s locker room on social media.

Interesting, isn’t it? But the more interesting part came out when Thibodeaux tried to give a reply to Bryant’s troll. However, this time, it was out of respect, as he said, “I keep deleting my tweets out of respect (laughing emoji)….I don’t wanna do this to you OG!” Although the banter seems to end here, the reality hasn’t faded for sure. Saquon Barkley’s exit from the Giants, and arguably having Nabers the only key in the team who is excellent in tracking the football, the picture is clear.
So, yeah, we can understand why the trolls have been taking place today. It’s true that no Giants fan, even President John Mara, didn’t wonder about Saquon Barkley flying so high with the Eagles. Now that the running back has helped his team to reach the Super Bowl with his 3 touchdowns, Barkley is excited for his first ring. And this must have given a heartbreak to Mara and the entire franchise.
Saquon Barkley is flying high!
After the 2022 season, the Eagles are again in the Super Bowl as they won the NFC Championship against the strong Commanders on Sunday. And the major contribution to it was by none other than Saquon Barkley. On the very first play, he exploded for a jaw-dropping 60-yard touchdown run. But he wasn’t done yet. Minutes later, he added another from 4 yards out, setting the tone for a record-breaking day.

If you want to summarize the event—the Eagles didn’t just win, they dominated. Seven rushing touchdowns, 229 rushing yards, and a conference championship record of 55 points. Saquon Barkley, who was the star of the game, had his moment too in his sideline interview. He said, “I ain’t gonna lie. I tried to downplay it in my head, but it’s amazing, man. It’s amazing. We’re here. Super Bowl. But the goal wasn’t just getting there. The goal’s to win, and we’re gonna celebrate, enjoy this, and get right back to work.” That was indeed the truth.
The crushing 55-23 victory over the Commanders secured the Eagles’s NFC title and booked their ticket to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.
