Dak Prescott and his Lady Love Sarah Jane Ramos’s lives changed forever on the leap day of 2024. On that day, they welcomed their daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott. Dak immediately knew what it meant. “I feel different,” he had said. “When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. And everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but you want that for somebody else even more.” Within less than a year, Dak’s responsibilities increased further.

The couple announced in December 2024 that they were expecting their second daughter together. Dak had told Sports Illustrated that they always wanted to have children who would be of close age. Ramos was excited, “I can’t wait to watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.” In between these two happy moments, another significant incident happened.

In October 2024, Dak got engaged to Ramos during the team’s bye week. And guess what? Dak made sure to make it happen at such a place where Ramos would love to be- a golf course! He had the ring placed in a fake golf ball. “I’m super excited,” Prescott expressed. “I’ve known it for a while. … I got the ring a few months ago. She had no idea. She’s a big golfer, thought we were going golfing. I told her that we had a lifetime to golf,” Dak had said about the moment. Well, the ring- it demands a word or two.

Made by Jason of Beverly Hills, the 10-carat emerald-cut diamond was set on an 18-karat gold band between two tapered baguette diamonds. Hold your heart for the value- an estimated $1 million! Befitting indeed for the highest-paid player in the NFL. BUT…it is actually less than Dak’s salary for a week! Life has been good for the couple lately, in every aspect. Ramos’ latest Instagram post once again gave that vibe.

On April 3, Sarah Jane Ramos gave the Cowboys fans another peek into their life! Sharing lovely family photos with Dak and their growing family, we can say it’s all about love. Captioning the carousel of images, Ramos wrote, “The good life.” As this cute family post made rounds, comments from Cowboys’ Cheerleader Amanda Howard got into her duties- cheering for them. Howard jumped in with four simple words, calling her baby: “The cutest mini you.” And now, with baby girl No. 2 due on May 22, the Prescott household is all set to get even busier.

MJ is already looking like her mom’s twin, as pointed out by Howard, who has been with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders since 2022. She made it to the squad after grinding her way through dance careers. Previously, she was with Sonoma State and the Golden State Warriors. She also starred in Netflix’s docuseries “America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders” which premiered on June 20, 2024. Besides cheerleading, she also uses her platform to advocate for breast cancer awareness by sharing her own experiences while pushing others for self-exams. And now, she’s hyping up Ramos, who is currently balancing life as a first-time mom, a soon-to-be mom of two. Meanwhile, Dak’s professional side also looks to be good.

Dak Prescott is resolutely recovering from his injury

The Cowboys had a disappointing 2024 season that was made worse by Dak’s injury in the team’s Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons that ended his season abruptly. It was a partial avulsion of his right hamstring, and the tenson had got pulled away from the bone. To fix it, Dak had to go under the knife on November 13, last year. In February, Dak was found moving without his crutches at a charity event.

“What’s it been — 12 weeks or so after surgery now? I’m really looking to amp it up and gather all my confidence,” said the All-Pro quarterback. “We’ll be fine.” Moreover, just four months after the injury, his video of a workout was relieving enough for the Cowboys fans.

Now, ahead of the NFL annual meeting in Florida, Cowboys COO Stephen Jones came up with the latest update on Dak’s injury. “Dak’s doing great. He’s coming along. He’s very thrilled with where he is. And I know the trainers are too. I feel like he’s doing a hell of a job,” Jones said, as reported by Jon Machota of The Athletic. So, will he be available for the off-season activities?

Of course, he will not be at his hundred percent. But Jones mentioned, “He’ll have some limitations, yeah. But knowing Dak, he’s a worker. He’s thrilled with where he is.” This is indeed good news for the Cowboys, where a lot is happening in the QB room. In the latest development, they acquired Joe Milton from the Patriots, adding depth behind Dak. Now, Dak’s quick return, completely healthy, is all the Cowboys fans can ask for.
