The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. The Bills vs. Chiefs rivalry has become somewhat of an annual rite. Both teams are coming off a loss but the Chiefs are at 8-4, while the Josh Allen-led Bills are at a mediocre 0.500 score. In the five times that the two teams have clashed against each other since 2020, the Chiefs have won 3 times while the Bills have won twice. The Bills Mafia hasn’t forgotten the humiliation it was dealt during the AFC Championship playoff last season.
When the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Chiefs a few weeks ago, they wanted to prove that they were the better team after they lost Super Bowl LVII. And indeed, they won 21-17. Will the Bills, burning with a desire for revenge, outplay the Chiefs as well?

It looked like a match of equals when the game ended 14-all after the clock signaled the end of the first half. Then, as the second half ended, the teams were again equally matched at 36. As the game went into overtime, emotions were high. The team that scored would pretty much win the game and make it to the Super Bowl. And that’s where Travis Kelce came through for the Chiefs.
He caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from QB Patrick Mahomes and sealed the victory for the Chiefs. The Bills Mafia were absolutely in despair. After coming so close, and tying with one of the best teams in the league in both halves, they lost the game during overtime. Now as they meet the Chiefs again during the regular season, will they manage to use last year as fuel to push them to victory?
The Chiefs at advantage this time as well
According to ESPN Analytics, the Bills are set to face a tough competition in the Chiefs. In the last two regular-season meetings, the Bills defense had managed to stop the Chiefs at 20 points. But when it comes to the post-season, the Chiefs have not scored below 38 points. The fate of the game, for the Bills, will be decided by a number of factors such as injuries, inconsistent play and the inability to close games.

The number one thing that the Bills need to be wary of is Josh Allen and his tendency for interceptions. The QB has thrown at least one interception in each of his previous 8 games. But Allen is also one of the main reasons why the Bills are such a formidable team.

In the game against the Eagles, he had recorded a season-high 81 rushing yards. If the Bills manage to keep Allen’s interceptions in check and the defense continues to do its thing, the 8-4 Chiefs may become 8-5 after Sunday.
