Lamer Jackson has been the latest quarterback sensation under the Ravens’ belt. With week 10 of the NFL season inching closer, all eyes are arguably the best passer in the league. That said, he still doesn’t get what he deserves. The class, the composure, and the control he developed over the pigskin are unreal. It is the time when the talk about him getting the badge of the most valuable player and offensive player of the year seems to take a serious turn. But wait, can you remember the sight of the prodigious Jackson standing at the podium during the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine and explaining to the desperate media questions why he refused to switch his position to a Running back or Wide Receiver? If it’s a yes, you will probably know the tumultuous path from a potential Running back to a quintessential quarterback.
NFL.com suggested that a slew of teams wanted Jackson to switch to a wide receiver to gauge his potential. The discussion is not a foreign theme whatsoever. It was 2019 and a New England assistant rose to the news, dubbing Jackson as ‘‘a running back who can throw,” that running ability ‘‘opens up (throwing) avenues everywhere,’‘. The comments came in the backdrop of Jackson amassing a perfect passer rating against the Dolphins with five touchdowns on just 20 attempts. It is all but embarrassing for the NFL MVP.
Still crazy that the media tried to push Lamar Jackson to become a running back coming out of college.
He is already a 2x MVP and is the favorite to win it again. Lamar is 27… and he’s on the path to become one of the greatest quarterback of all time.

”It is annoying because the quarterback is all I played all my life. People look at my legs and they see I can make big plays, but they don’t really see my arm, and I make big plays with my arm. I scored more touchdowns with my arm than my legs so…” Jackson reaffirmed his ability.
7 years are down and you see how he is living up to his words. His fiery passer rating (158.3) records the fourth of his NFL stat, taking him to the same page with Ben Roethlisberger for the most in league history. Jackson is all-seated to enter the GOAT gang if he wins another MVP.
This season has not been a smooth ride for the NFL great as he had to undergo a huge injury blow in the mid-season, putting his unfathomable blend of running and passing agility on hold. He has missed a slew of games, making it difficult for the Ravens QBs to pass through the opponent’s challenge. But finally, some good news ahead for all Baltimore Ravens fans!
