The clash of this season is set to take place in Brazil, with the first game being headed to Sao Paulo. Earlier it was revealed that the Eagles would be playing in the 2024 opener, however, their rival team’s name wasn’t out yet. But now, considering the latest interview, it allegedly seems the Browns could be the one facing the 2023 Super Bowl defenders.

In the latest episode of the Cleveland Browns radio network, the team’s defensive tackle Maurice Hurst II, popularly known as Mo Hurst, appeared in the show to talk about the offseason and their preparation for the next season. When asked, “If you are organizing the room vacation, where are you going?” Hurst replied, “I would play in Brazil this year, so I mean we could do a dual…just a little Rio trip out there.” So, does this mean the Browns are facing off against the Eagles this year in the opener?
Well, the co-host of the Barking Browns Show, Nick Karns, dropped the information on his official X account, saying, “Away game for Cleveland! The Browns were scheduled to be @ Philly this year.”
This means, there is an alleged possibility that the Browns are facing off against the Eagles in the 2024 season opener on September 5.
