Big day for the Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s family and team! The CEO of the Chiefs turned 60 on 19 February. His wife, Tavia Shackles, and the entire Chiefs kingdom celebrated this special occasion with a big bang. Interestingly, even amidst a US billionaire businessman’s birthday celebration, the Chiefs’ aspiration for grabbing the SB trophy is clearly visible. Unfortunately, this year, the Chiefs faced a distressing (22-40) defeat from the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. And, with this stressful loss, the Chiefs’ dream of earning an SB three-peat was shattered.
Amidst this, Chiefs WR Rashee Rice’s heartwarming promise to the Chief owner on his 60 birthday won many hearts including that of the Chiefs owner’s wife Tavia Hunt. Hence, after receiving Rice’s gift for the 2025 season, Tavia adored the Chiefs offensive weapon with a heartfelt message.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, @taviahunt, Mrs. Hunt showcased her admiration for Rice, 24. Re-sharing Rice’s heartfelt birthday post, she mentioned a three-word message to the WR. “You are the best,” she gushed over with pride. Originally, to commemorate this major milestone Chiefs owner, Rashee Rice sent the birthday wishes with the big promise – a SB return – on Wednesday on Instagram. “Happy birthday to the big dawg,” the former SMU athlete Rice mentioned in his IG story.

And, his birthday post also caught enormous attention as it includes a huge promise about next season. “Got a gift for you next year around Feb,” he dedicated to Clark Hunt in his post caption. In the latest post, Rice was spotted with the “KC Conference Champions,” trophy. With this post, Chiefs Rice, who had been on the IR due to his knee injury for most of the season, even expressed his optimistic mindset for playing a big part next season.
Rashee Rice’s comeback crucial to Chiefs’ 2025 season
Despite their SB loss, the Chiefs never failed to delight their fans with their rocking plays throughout the season. In the postseason rounds, the hat-trick AFL championship-winning team left many awestruck by looking effortless on their way to New Orleans.

But of course, they really missed their WR1 since his injury in Week 4. However, before his painful injury, the Chiefs’ formidable WR left a remarkable impact. Impressively, in the Chiefs’ first three games, Rice posted two TDs and 288 yards on 24 catches. Hence, Rice’s comeback will be crucial to the Chiefs’ 2025 victory campaign. In just his second season in the NFL, he appeared to be becoming Patrick Mahomes‘ No. 1 target. And, Rice’s rookie season in 2023 will also be remembered as he impressively posted seven TDS and 938 YRDS on 79 receptions.
Fans are relying on him for some redemption for the Super Bowl embarrassment for the Chiefs next year.
