Is Allegiant Stadium becoming the Chiefs' new fortress, echoing their Super Bowl glory days?

Allegiant Stadium is becoming special for the Kansas City Chiefs now! Patrick Mahomes and his team registered another victory this Week over their long-time rival, the Las Vegas Raiders. And you know what? It’s giving a Super Bowl vibe! How?

Well, this is because Chiefs owner, Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt recently shared an Instagram carousel post to honor the team’s moment. In the shared photos, Hunt could be seen wearing a white printed shirt top, pairing it with black jeans and a pair of pumps. She posed with her husband, who donned a red checkered coat, white shirt, and beige color pants in one of the photos.

In the next photos, Tavia could be seen posing with her entire family, friends, and even Brittany Mahomes & Sterling. Along with these, the former Miss Kansas USA wrote a caption that reminds her of her team’s victory in the Super Bowl LVIII. She wrote: “Never thought Vegas would feel like ‘home,’ but it’s hard not to relive the memories of being the ‘home’ team here in Super Bowl LVIII! Lots of RED > Black today—let’s go, Chiefs!

Last time, the Chiefs won their Super Bowl at $2 billion host, Allegiant Stadium, against the 49ers in February. And hence, with this win, it gave another Super Bowl and ‘home’ vibe to Tavia Hunt and the Chiefs’ fans. In addition to that, this victory marked the unbeaten Chiefs’ win against the Raiders since 2018, as per The Football Database.

This time, Kansas City won against the Raiders with 27-20, improving their NFL standings with 7-0. And with this, Patrick Mahomes and his team made some other records as well.

A standout win for Patrick Mahomes and his team!

Patrick Mahomes rarely slips up, but when he did on Sunday, it almost put the Chiefs in trouble. With the Raiders right on the Chiefs’ doorstep, first-and-goal at the 3-yard line, Kansas City’s defense had to dig deep. They held strong, stopping the Raiders cold, and shifted the entire momentum of the game. That stand? It allowed the Chiefs to keep rolling toward victory, pulling off a 27-20 win that keeps them unbeaten.

Mahomes, who also reached a historic 30,000 passing yards faster than any QB before him (in his 103rd game), knew this win wasn’t his alone. Hence, he tributed his entire team in a post-game press conference by saying, “It was on the offense that put them in position, but they stood their ground. The defense made a big-time stop and we were able to carry momentum into a win.

In addition to Mahomes 30k passing yards, his team also recorded 7 wins out of 7 games at Allegiant Stadium against the Raiders. Moreover, they extended their winning streak to 13 games, including the playoffs. Furthermore, via reporter Matt McMullen, Mahomes moved “to 19-1 on the road against divisional opponents.

Hence, it would be safe to say that the Chiefs are keeping their championship status alive!
