It was almost as if we were watching a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino. Chiefs vs. Eagles was such a brutal match, and the Eagles were slashing away at the Chiefs’ three-peat dream one yard at a time. Patrick Mahomes couldn’t stop chewing on his mouth guard on the sidelines as he watched his team lose 40-22. Even his buddy Travis Kelce had one of the worst games of his playoff career, with zero catches by halftime.

It seemed like the Eagles were just out there playing a practice game against them. They say revenge tastes best when served cold, right? That’s exactly what the Eagles did as they grasped onto their second Lombardi ever. It will take a good while for Chiefs Kingdom to forget this scar.

The owner of the $4.8 billion franchise, Clark Hunt, must’ve felt so broken after seeing his empire losing like that. Although he didn’t give any public statement yet regarding the loss, his family did speak their heart out. Just like his daughter Gracie Hunt.

“It wasn’t the result we were hoping for, but so proud of this team’s heart and the incredible season we had. Thank you to our sweet friends and family who came to support this weekend and stayed through the post-game reception. to every person in the Chiefs organization for going above and beyond in all you do—we love you like family. Thank you to the incredible fans who bleed red with us. You all are the heartbeat of Chiefs Kingdom and are truly the best fans in the NFL. We’ll be back, Chiefs Kingdom,” Gracie wrote.

And let us clear one thing up—Gracie loves the Chiefs not just because her family owns it, but because she’s a fan herself. I mean, just take a quick look at her social handles—it’s majorly covered in red. And she wasn’t the only one who shared her feelings on the loss. Her mom, Tavia Hunt, also expressed it on her IG. She wrote, “This season, this journey, and all the joy along the way have been a blessing. Chiefs Kingdom, you are the best fans. We don’t hang our heads—and we take the high road. Adversity makes us stronger, and we will lean in, learn, and grow from it. We love this team and organization—from the executive level to every person who makes this football family what it is. The gratitude runs deep.”

The next person to whom this team matters the most is Andy Reid, and he also gathered the courage to share his feelings. After all, he’s the mastermind behind this dynasty, and seeing it crumble like that had to sting. “We spent a lot of time doing this. It’s not a hobby, right? So we’re in it the whole way and spent a lot of hours doing it as players, as coaches. So it’s going to hurt. They all hurt when you get to this level and these things happen,” Reid said.

But if there’s one thing about him, it’s that he knows how to bounce back. And just like Reid, Gracie Hunt is already looking ahead, shifting gears into full offseason mode.

What’s your perspective on:

Can the Chiefs bounce back stronger next season, or is this the start of their decline?

Have an interesting take?

What’s got everyone talking about Gracie Hunt this offseason?

Okay, we get it—the Eagles won, the Chiefs lost, now what? Are we just going to keep talking about that one sad sob story? Absolutely not. That’s exactly what Gracie Hunt believes, too.

As soon as the offseason started, she didn’t waste any time becoming the talk of the town. She’s literally turning heads in her bold outfit. Oh, you don’t know? Well, well, well, you better go check out her new IG post—she’ll remind you of Baywatch. And if the post says anything, it’s that we have to move on and prepare for what’s next. Grace wrote, “Sometimes a wave crashes down on you, but you shake it off, paddle back out, and wait for the next one. The ride isn’t over yet.”

She’s always been the one all the cameras focus on, and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to call her a true fashion icon. Gracie Hunt never steps out without making a statement—whether it’s game day or just another day in the offseason. Didn’t catch what she wore to the Super Bowl? Well, let’s just say she didn’t come to play—except with fashion. She literally carried a mini purse shaped like a Duke football, and her caption read, “It’s our time, Chiefs Kingdom! Matthew 17:20. Let’s take it to the next level.” Oh, and that golden dress? It was impossible to look away. Shimmering, statement-making, and just pure Gracie.

And if there’s one thing Gracie Hunt knows how to do, it’s making the most of every moment—win or lose. She soaked in every bit of the Super Bowl experience, and her IG post said it all: “Singing ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ hits different with 80,000 people! This is what Super Bowl memories are made of.” Even after a tough loss, she’s keeping the energy high and the vibes even higher. Because for Gracie, the game may be over, but the spotlight never dims.
